FOGRA

is one of the highest certifications of color profiles (ICC), which the printing company can demand and the conditions for obtaining it are truly uncompromising.
After successful certification of proofs according to FOGRA 51 (paper type 1) and FOGRA 54 (print substrate PS6 – SCB) is Slovenská Grafia a.s. able to create contraction proofs according to ISO 12647-7:2016. Certificate no. 35348 was issued by FOGRA (an independent research and certification institute for the print and media industry).

Slovenská Grafia a.s. successfully fulfilled the conditions for process calibration and printing machine certification – PSO (PSO = Process Standard Offset) defined by an international certification institute UGRA, administrated by Ugra Certified Expert n. 3191295 – Ing. Anton Puškár.
CERTIFICATION guarantees clients that the print parameters correspond to the process parameters specified in the standard ISO 12647-2:2013 for printing on coated paper (PS1 for sheet printing, PS3 for rotary offset printing). At the same time, the certification checks the quality of the predefined processes.

PEFC

Forest certification provides a mechanism to promote the sustainable management of our forests and ensures that forest-based products reaching the marketplace have been sourced from sustainably managed forests. The PEFC label enables to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, as well as highlighting our engagement with sustainable forest management. The PEFC label enables us to communicate our responsible practices visibly to our customers.

FSC® Certificate

Environmental protection is one of the priorities of Slovenská Grafia. We support responsible forest management by obtaining FSC® certification. We are able to produce magazines, leaflets and other print materials for our customers on FSC® certified paper upon requestnmental

CDP

Slovenska Grafia discloses its climate change and forests and water security impacts through CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. CDP drives companies and governmen​ts to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. Over 13,000 companies with over 64% of global market capitalization disclosed environmental data through CDP in 2021. This is in addition to the over 1,100 cities, states and regions who disclosed, making CDP’s platform one of the richest sources of information globally on how companies and governments are driving environmental change. ISO 28000:2022 – Specification for security management systems for the supply chain

Data safety and security of supply chain  is important part of our company policy.  To achieve this we agreed to implement ISO 28000 to fulfill all possible customers confidentiality requests. Phisycal secuirty of inner and outer spaces, controlled access of all employees, external suppliers and visitors, camera systems,  control mechanisms and security in manipulation process with products are main attributes of this standard. This standard also serves to actively manage and reduce risks within the supply chain and also to reduce all negative impacts on the logistics chain.

ISO 27001:2022 – Information security management systems

The establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of our organization is one of the key attributes of our company policy. It also includes the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of our organization. This certificate ensures that our organization identifies, analyzes and addresses the information risks and that the security arrangements are fine-tuned to keep pace with changes to the security threats, vulnerabilities and business impacts.

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems

The highest quality and the top services for our customers is one of the key attributes of our company policy. The certificate confirms that the processes guaranteeing the highest quality of products are observed, and it is also the guarantee of continuous improvement in the efficiency and flexibility of the services offered.

ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental management systems

Environmental protection is an important part of the company policy. Effective use of energies and raw materials, investments in equipment minimizing the release of harmful substances into the environment and the setting of environmental management processes is a proof of our permanent effort to minimize the adverse effects of the production process on the environment.

ISO 45001:2018 – Systems of occupational health and safety management

An important substantial part of our company policy is also occupational health and safety of the employees by the work performance. The obtaining of the certificate of the occupational health and safety system according to the ISO 45001 requirements, at the present the only complex and internationally recognised system for all branches of industry and services, is a guarantee for constant improvement of working conditions of our employees, elimination of risks related to occupational accidents and illnesses as well as a guarantee of application and maintaining of all valid legal regulations and decrees in the field of occupational health and safety.

EU Ecolabel

On 24 February 2023, Slovenská Grafia a.s. successfully defended the European Union Ecolabel Certificate – EU Ecolabel which has been awarded for its products – advertising materials and newsletters, periodicals, catalogues, leaflets and brochures.  With EU Ecolabel, there are products or services awarded that meet strict environmental standards throughout their lifecycle: from raw material extraction, through production, distribution to disposal. The EU Ecolabel is part of a sustainable consumption and production policy aimed at mitigating the negative impact of consumption and production on the environment, health, climate and natural resources.

Reducing impact on climate and CO₂ emissions

In 2017 Slovenska Grafia, as the first Slovak company, earned the brand “Monitoring CO₂”.

In the period 2015–2016, there was a decrease in total greenhouse gas emissions from Slovenska Grafia (Scope 1, 2 and 3) by 2.8%. Compulsorily reportable emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) declined by significant 39.1%. Relevant ratio indicators decreased as well. Emissions of Scope 1 and Scope 2 relative to revenues fell by 39.7 %. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions (total footprint) relative to revenues fell by 3.7%. Emissions relative to number of employees also decreased.
